This is why I hate Illinois

good luck with all the repairs. those are some BRUTAL pics! hope u post up some new ones once the work is done. i’m thinking about powder coating my rims too, so i'm looking for any companies that do it. found strictly modified in the schaumburg area quoted $55/rim, but u gotta remove the tire beforehand.
haven't heard of a lot of people having luck either personally dealing with getting reimbursed by the state or having their insurance companies do it. either way.....its the longest, drawn out process ever.
i’ve hit one in the city 2 months ago that I thought took my front lip right off! thankfully it didn’t and haven’t driven the evo in the city since, and won't until the state forks over the cash and fixes that crap. idk about anyone else in IL, but I’m not a fan of our new dodging potholes sport.

Yeah my brother bent all 4 aftermarket rims on his Benz driving on the dan Ryan. Now he just junked the rims and bought a new set. Now on his new set he is on his 2nd popped tire!! This is getting crazy...stay outta those left lanes though. I know someone that can repair your rims.

I hate Illinois for lots of reasons, this being one of the top. Construction everywhere, potholes, crap drivers, speed traps, the list goes on and on....and that's just the driving conditions.

^^i agree with both of u. there are too many driving issues in IL to list, plus the lack of E85 stations in the area sux.....i would love to tune my car on E85 cuz 100 or 110 is making me broke.

potholes are a way of life in illinois, The roads here suck because IL crooked politicians wont spend the money to fix the roads properly, they just do mickey mouse patch work.

At least you didn't pop a quarter sized hole in the tire (my winter fun)... although thats not as big of a deal since you are getting new ones.
Filing something with the state will likely get you nothing. The only time they pay out is when they were specifically neglectful in repairing a pot-hole IE: they knew about it and did not fix it after a "reasonable" amount of time (could be forever in their eyes). It doesn't help that there is a giant budget deficit in IL right now.
