Pics are from a cell phone and the car is dirty, but I like them. In fact, I like them better this way than with the red lip.

What? They were daily driven, so they had tires on them and were bolted to the car. How else should I have taken care of these wheels?

I bought these wheels because they hid break dust, were lightweight, and were forgen and could take more of a beating than standard rims.

But they did bend, not crack. Most would crack. Just pointing that out.

Hey buddy, it's the the fact that you live in Illinois that it's considered a collision it just the fact that the car was in motion and there isn't any other vehicle involved. You shouldn't have even contacted your insurance before know whether or not you can go after the state. Now they are going to keep a record of an at-fault accident for that incident whether you file a claim or not. I would still suggest contacting the proper authorities( say the department of transportation for instance) in your state to see if you can get compensation. Don't give up man! PM me if you have any further questions related to ins/collisions.

Well, I just got my first scratch/gouge in my car thanks to IL GREAT roads. I was driving down rt. 6 just past gougar road. their are a series of potholes(craters) that you have to go clear into oncoming traffic to avoid. I couldn't do this because their was a semi coming and he was hugging the yellow line as it is, so I had no choice to hit these craters, no my car is no longer flawless. Also, my buddy drove my car around the other day, moron hit a curb and f'ed up my two passenger side rims.

This is the only state that I've ever had to pay tolls in.

This is also the only state that I have ever had wheel damage due to improperly maintained roads.
