The Evo is the best car available today, but when something better comes along I will be like C-ya!
I had a 1993 Mustang Cobra new in 1993 and it was a very respectable car back then. It was as rare then as the Evo is now (4993 built). I actually saw a '93 Cobra a few weeks ago in Chicago. It gave me fond memories, but there's no way I would rather be driving a 10 year-old Mustang than an Evo. It will be the same way with these Evos in five years.
Enjoy your Evo to the fullest and then move on.

It could be a limited run FQ300, like you mentioned a new awd turbo G35 "skyline", the new Rwd 320hp GTO /Manaro, or perhaps even a revived Supra or RX7. I have been buying cars for too many years, and know that there will always be something around the corner.
The nice thing, is that the Evo is an awesome enough car that it may have to fight for its crown from time to time, but it won't be "eclipsed" easily. The way I see it, by raising the bar, it just helps create a new challenge to other car makers which will help ensure a very positive outlook for future performance cars in the USA.

Locking away the Evo for winter is like locking up the snowmobile.
Im thinking about putting mine away for the Summer
Anyway check out my picts of the new hardware on Eve.

Technoz, sweet pillar guages. Coming up from behind thats all I could see in your window!
How do they let you live in Naperville and NOT drive a BMW? I thought it was a prereq?
For you guys that are driving yours this winter, what wheel tire packaces are you going with? I am thinking about running a 7" rim, but so far all I can find are the 7.5's at tirerack. @ $1350 inc. blizzaks.

When/if I get an EVO in the (hopefully) near future, I've been toying with keeping my current GC6 Impreza as my "beater" car or sell it and just getting a cheap car as a back up or winter car.
I was thinking a EG6 w/a mild swap. Always wanted one of them.
I can probably store the EVO in my Dad's garage next to his G35 or perhaps persuade him to let me pay for an addition to the garage for my car/scooters.
