Wow. I kinda figured Mitch would be pretty hard on it... Made it through him ok though... Cool...
I bought this black one in Round Lake Beach with 60k. It's a Mitsu buyback car.
By 9k mi.it was on it's 3rd motor.... hmmmmmmm. Oh well. the guy I got it from ran it to 60k with no more issues and I got it for $9900!!!. NO salvage title---- no paintwork--- clean carfax... Needed tires and a 60k service.
I had a hard time modding the first one. I either had to mod it (my brother-in law beat me in his big block chevy pickup) or sell it.
I bought a sr-t4 for a summer then went back to what I know... LS1's.
Bought another camaro... did the bolt-ons and a cam AGAIN to THIS one..
Made 400whp and went mid 12's @114 with zero traction , sold it and bought this EVO. Kids could not see out of the camaro and it SUCKED to work on (Motor UNDER windshield...WTF???)

There is a big meet on Randall in the Sonic parking lot every thursday right now. It started off as a Subaru meet, but we've pretty much expanded to all cars now. We have the occaisonal evo show along with a honda, or random ford show.
Feel free to come by though. We meet at 7:00 in the parking lot just north of Sonic. I drive the only DSM there, but don't be intimidated at all cause we're all very friendly and accepting. Plus there will be a loud guy wearing a Subaru hat that loves to talk.
