Tire Mounting near Springfield, IL
Anyone do this themselves?

With all the tires I have mounted a year, $80-$100 a pop really seems to add up.
Wondered if anybody local had a machine or was thinking about getting one?

If so, hit me up.

theres a discount tire out there i work at one if u were closer to me id mount ur stuff for free all day

Mine sits in the garage mostly between track events. It's ...kinda... street legal these days!

Btw, to get a little back on topic, I've had tires mounted for a few of my vehicles at 2 places with varied results:
  • Lauterbach Tire & Auto Service - they scratched the hell out of my 5Zigen's when I had them dismount the tires before shipping. I will NEVER do business with them again.
  • Firestone off MacArther - These guys are linked up with TireRack as I had my new truck tires shipped there. No problems; probably go back there if/when I need something away from the track.
