Various control functions are equipped on today's cars which have more than enough performance. Hence, it makes harder if we try to gain more performance (power) with improving the intake/exhaust efficiency by simply replacing air filters or mufflers. So, how can we improve the performance of the car nowadays? "Pro Racer ECON" will be the answer.

Not like other electrical parts, the ECON was developed with focusing on the ignition system. The purpose of the ECON is different from other electrical parts which adjust the flow of electricity, like grounding systems. On the other hand, the ECON has a role to increase the engine performance fundamentally by improving the combustion efficiency. The idea is that it can raise the voltage at the ignition by connecting the ECON and ignition coil for each cylinder with special harness.

In the case of most of Japanese cars, the electricity flows with the voltage of 12V. However, it is difficult to ensure sufficient voltage to spark the spark plugs, if the several electrical equipments were operated at the same time, mobile entertainments, navigation systems, etc... Recently, while more electrical equipments are growing as essential part of vehicle, there are many cars can not demonstrate its catalog spec caused by the shortage of electrical supply to the ignition.

In order to solve these power shortages and incomplete combustion, the ECON amplify the voltage inputted as 12V to 130%. By increasing the voltage, it receives less influence from other electrical equipments and more than 100 percent of the quantity of electricity can be secured for the ignition system all the time. It pulls the actual performance the spark plugs should have. There is no worry to adverse effect on the other equipments because the ECON provides a separated high-voltage circuit to ignitions only.
As a result of chassis dynamo test measured with a Toyota Estima with actually the ECON was installed, it achieved the torque gain in the entire range from low to high rpm. Also, we got a result that fuel consumption was decreased from the race track lapping test performed by a racing car (FD2 Civic Type-R). The test was occurred with keeping same lap times, not comparing the difference of lap times. By this test, we can see how much margin to secure the engine performance by installing the ECON. Although the test was held at the circuit, by not consuming extra gasoline, it would do the same thing that has proven the torque gain at useful rpm range. In the many cases of these ignition parts, it may not feel the difference immediately after placement, unless the results the ECON surely gives higher torque comparing with the stock condition from low speed range, you should be able to experience the difference from embarking. (The change by installation can not be felt immediately by drivers in some models. ※)

There is additional benefit of reducing harmful emissions emitted during incomplete combustion due to the almost complete explosion of the air-fuel mixture by the sure spark amplified by the ECON.
The model specific or universal harnesses (both sold separately) are also needed.

Installation to the diesel vehicles is not allowed.

Main unit of ECON is vivid anodized green that appeals for existence under the hood.

It is equipped with the security function so that the excess voltage should not go to the ignition coil. Moreover, it is possible to run at ease because "Through circuit" that returns to OE circuit automatically is built into even when the trouble occurs by any chance.

Useless structures are omitted, because ECON is parts to draw out 100% of the performance that the car originally has. A special harness is inserted in the coupler of the main body of ECON, and the other engine side coupler of a special harness is made to interrupt the coupler of the direct ignition coil that exists in each cylinder. The last step only takes the power supply and the ground.

This is the graph of the result that power check with ECON installed Toyota Estima and Nissan 350Z. The thick line indicates torque the ECON installed. It shows that the expansion of the torque is obviously surpassing from the stock. The torque improvement will be able to be experienced from a practical range of the low revolution.

The decrease in the voltage caused by using a variety of electric equipment at the same time is suppressed to the minimum by installing ECON that improves the voltage. It is the proof that wave motion in the graph is steady. It becomes possible to demonstrate a full performance the sparking plug because it always secures the quantity of electricity of 100% or more.
