here's the summary:
- perfect day for racing!!..
- badly slipping brand new clutch (700 miles on it).. launching was out of the question completely!.... and the clutch wouldnt hold above 5500rpms without slipping either going in to get it checked tomorrow..
result: 2.4 60ft - 13.5@108.3mph ..
happy about the trap though.. so i'm satisfied for the season.. knowing that it equals a mid to low 12 ET with my normal 1.7 60fts...
the nice thing is that the trap would be even better if the clutch weren't slipping too.. so probably a 110mph trap is more like it.. i had to feather the gas the whole way down..

My runs weren't so great. I think something's wrong w/ my car. could you post that timeslip for that 13.5 run. specifically, I'm interested in your 1/8 mile trap speed.

don't have the slip here.. it's in my car somewhere .. i'll find it and post it later..

Didn't really converse w/ the DSMers like I normally do, was too busy listening to the football game in between runs.
The reason I ask about your run is because my best run of 13.4 had, what i think, a really low 1/8 trap. I was just wondering if yours had a low trap.
Kinda bummed about the times I ran and the traps. Maybe I just have one of the weaker cars. Stock, my best was a 14.1 w/98mph trap. Weak 60ft of 2.1
But at least I was able to get a 60ft of 1.7x this time. Unfortunately, out of the 4 runs I did, I missed 2nd gear twice! I'm starting to think the MT-90 isn't doing such a great job. (works great around town, though)

what mods do u have so far?
i increased my trap from 13.1-13.2 @ 104 to 108.3 mph traps (slipping clutch.. most likely a 110+ with a strong clutch) with the AMS downpipe and testpipe and k&n cone filter...
all ur mods have to work together..
