Mint SE BBS stolen off my car in Grayslake IL

Seems the string of theft in the Chicagoland region continues, as your's truly is now a victim. If anyone in the area notices some PERFECTLY MINT SE BBS for sale with the STOCK ADVAN tires with 70% being sold or posted anywhere, there is no doubt it my mind you're looking at my wheels. Be a stand up person and contact me or do something to let these punks know this type of stuff can't continue.

Wow. Chicagoland area is still hot for evos. I will keep my eyes and ears out for ya. I'll check craigslist. I'm from aurora/Naperville. I've always been worried about my car too.

Wow, didn't even realize they got my intercooler/piping as well. Mint PPI intercooler and piping is another item to keep eyes out for folks.

Was your car outside on the street or driveway or garage? Man theives are getting crazy. I would guess it takes at least 20 minutes to raise the car up and take wheels off.

can somebody post interchangeability of the wheels and tires of the evo with other vehicles? their target market? I know it will not fit my IS300, so scratch that. how about civics and base lancers?

sblvro, our BBS fit on quite a few 5x114.3 cars, and other cars can get adapters to change their stock bolt pattern to accomodate the Evo's bolt pattern.

-Lexus SC300/IS300
-Subaru WRX/STi (offset makes it a bit hard but I've seen them)
-DSM's
-Few Honda's like RSX

Well I'm not THAT depressed....hell, insurance is gonna take care of it; the fact that OEM wheels were stolen makes it MUCH better, but alas....this was the BEST ever set of SE BBS I've had, and many of you know the volume of wheels I've seen over these past 5 years. It's not like I don't have other wheels to pop on the car.

The IC/Piping set up that screws me, we're just working on putting thr car together as of yesterday !
