You overestimate quite a bit there. I can have it done in about 20 seconds, granted I do this for a living...although I guess you could say that they do too.

I'd love to pick up a CT9A for a weekend/project car, but leaving it at home all day during work would just leave me a paranoid mess

As far as EMP... Yes because all they need to do is silence the alarm long enough til they can shut it off. Because the silver Evo they took a few weeks ago had an alarm and it obviously still went missing.

legit question would a EMP disrupt LOJACK or any kind of tracking tech on board? i frequent the area because of family and my car is normally protected by KIMBER 45ACP, if my key FOB gets the warning signal that is!
