Best mod friendly dealer in illinois?

I kept hearing Grand mitsu but I think they are closed down now. So what else is left?

Haven't had any problems at Bill Jacob's in Joliet. I've gone in with rolled over racing slicks on, and tire compound all over. He told me I'd have no issues as long as it wasn't a problem pertaining to my mods.

That's nice to know, although its a 2hr drive, that's where my g/f bought her white EVO x se. I wanna do a few bolt ons and a tune but the dealers around here will turn you down for warranty work if they see you have an aftermarket air filter lol.

I brought my car into max madsen/aurora recently for extended warranty work. I was pretty straight up with them, told them the car had a few bolt ons, but my issue with the ACD pump shouldn't have been a failure attributable to my mods. They looked it over, and approved the warranty..

If I had thrown a rod through the block due to a bad tune, I wouldn't have expected them to pay for it.

I have a friend who works @ max madsen in aurora/naperville. If you've got specific questions you could PM me and I can ask him if need be. Or just go there and talk to Ryan Clark and tell him you know his friend Matt w/ the Evo X
