Bought Tarmac Black Evo last night
Purchased my Tarmac Black evo last night from Larry Roesch Mitsubishi in Bensenville. I give these guys 4 thumbs up! One of the best dealer sales experiences I have had if not the best.
Called them, told them what I wanted to pay, they said they could do it, told them what financing I wanted, they said they'd try and do it, everything was sorted out over the phone before I even went in. Trade-in, financing, etc. I just had to sign the paperwork. They got me a pretty good financing rate with my so-so credit (I make decent money, but made some credit mistakes several years ago) and gave me a great price both on my trade in and on the evo. I believe I paid 27500 including the destination charge.
Car looks great, some swirl marks from the probably not too detail oriented porters and the car had a bit more miles then new cars im used to with 60 on the clock. But I love this car, it is definitely an amazing machine and hands down a better car then my WRX, and it seems mitsubishi is really trying to give a great sales experience.
See you guys on the road

hah if anyone knew how to take care of a black car, it'd be you dan. I remember yer RS back in the day, keeping the detailing kit in the backseat in case some dust blew up on it :-P I'll have to swing by GRD one of these days (its a bit of a hike for me coming from evanston, but I gotta put breakin miles on anyways ) and check out this mystery product you are talking about.

I uploaded a few pics. You can barely see something in the pavement behind my parking space that my friend carved in there while I was sleeping this morning, should read "OMGHI2U!!" hehe, I nearly fell over laughing this morning when I saw it.

You are lucky, back in October both they and Libertyville mitsu wanted to charge me $2000 over MSRP. I told them both to go **** themselves and got my car for about the same price you paid at Schaumburg Mitsu. Gotta love local competition to drive the prices down!!!
ENJOY THE CAR MAN!!! It's an awesome machine you will love it. Hope to see you out at an autocross sometime.

Also...
I Bought My Weightless Weight Evo at Larry Roesch also. We settled the whole thing over the phone and all we had to do was do paperwork and we were out in 30 minutes. Since they didn't have a white one at the Bensenville Location they delivered one from their Melrose Park Location the same day I called saying i wanted one! They have very good service and responsive. Congratulations on your new Evo. You won't be let down, but be ready to be raced by envied Drivers...especially racers, ha!
