A month would be pushing it, but who knows? They are telling me it will take them 30 days for R and D, and because they have heavily researched and developed replacement internals for the GTR to hold 700hp, this job will be far easier for them. Just wait and see! I'll keep everyone up to date.
I'm also working with MAperformance and they are pioneering with modifying the intake manifold and doing a port and polish. On the evo eights, this averaged a 35hp gain or greater. New parts are on their way down the tube, just wait and see MR owners!
After the transmission cooler and upgraded internals are released "Praise South Side Performance" MR owners will finally be able to bust out some high horse power beasts and when a GSR owner tries to put you down, you can ask, "hows that whole 'shifting thing' going for ya?

Just hope the gears themselves can handle he extra tq and hp.

The MR and GTR both use Getrag dual clutch gear boxes. I know the GTR uses a Getrag GR6... I forget what the MR has. The GTR guys had a lot of problems after bumping over 600bhp that we don't have to worry about, yet. The clutch packs were holding, but the gears themselves were actually breaking. If we can get to the point where this is a problem for us, then that alone is a victory
But yea, a lot of whats been said about the MR trans was also said about the GTR. "Nissan can't even service it", "it'll never be upgradeable", "even if you can improve the hardware, the software will hold you back", etc. So much for all that noise

Wow. I think we will be hearing sighs of relief and appreciation from all the MR owners on this forum
