2nd gear slip in manual mode!!
When in manual mode, When i shift into 2nd, it takes 1-3 seconds to engage the clutch. It's like on a normal manual just holding the pedal out half way for a few seconds. In auto mode, crisp strong, instant shifts in any setting (normal, sport,SS).
This happens under normal load conditions. When accellerating under wide open it's not as severe but still more so than in auto mode. Has anyone else seen this before or have any ideas what it could be? Does not seem the clutch is bad because in auto mode it engages fast and hard. It drives me crazy!

What auto mode are you in, normal, sport, or s-sport. In normal, mine does this too. In sport a bit less. In S-sport mode, it shifts pretty hard.

Makes no difference. I've tried all modes and still the same. full throttle it shifts fine. 1/4-3/4 throttle slides into 2nd for 2-3 seconds before locking.... Auto mode is always nice and crisp shifting.

I've noticed this as well and it has twice thrown up get transmission serviced and then the CEL goes away. I have heard the reason this happens is because the transmission requires a constant steady throttle in order to shift properly and any sudden throttle changes while shifting can cause issues. Just my 2 cents. To be safe I've made an appointment with my stealership to check it out. I also just recently changed the fluid in the SST.
