By the looks of things the issue isn't going away and no one knows what the fix is. I have no idea what do now. I'm completely stumped. Any ideas would be great.

What happened with Gunzo ? Thought he was helping AMS out in reference to the TCU ?

 

Have you considered swapping out the trans for a known to be working one? have you looked for a wrecked MR?

Is the computer back to stock settings?

 

I cant do any more with this now. I don't have the money to fund for a new trans. I think it would be better for me to try to trade for a GSR and make monthly payments... I have not heard from Gunzo and i don't know what has happened to him. Who knows..... I have no idea even where to start looking for a wrecked MR....

 

Yea there's has to be a wrecked MR somewhere in this vast country... I would suggest to wait, until you find one... I don't know how your finances are but if the car is paid off... I would/search for an wrecked MR.. If funds are unavailable, I would part out my parts in the mean time.. and use that to get what is needed to get you that Trans... then let that MR go and get you a GSR..

 

Could it be a nicked wire somewhere? Some sort of sensor gone bad or something?

+1 on chidevildog's post. If your looking for a wrecked MR, you could try the someone with access to those dealer-only auctions for possibilities, that's how I scored my bike.

Really hope you get this worked out instead of having to sell/part. GL man we r routing for ya!

There is a wrecked '08 MR being parted out by Platinum Mitsubishi in Calgary, AB, Canada. I recently purchased the Nav/Bluetooth/Steering Wheel out of the car, and noticed that the transmission was still up for grabs.
