Weird trans. shifting
I had my car in sport mode while driving. I then went to floor it, and here's what happened...
1) Rev'd up really high and fast
2) Immedietly upshifted (I'm assuming to the wrong gear, possibly a double gear change), and lurched me forward
3) Then it shifted back down and sent my body backwards again
4) It drove normally
I really thought my transmission was going to blow up!
PS - This has happened numerous times before

It seems the TCU is easily confused and it can cause inexplicable shifting anomalies when misinterpreting sensor input from throttle and/or brake. The TCU is not a thinking entity, it depends on throttle and brake input to guess at whether you intend to upshift or downshift and then it must prepare the next but separate 3 speed gearbox by selecting the proper gear to have engaged, in your case the next higher gear (upshift). If it (the TCU) guesses wrong, weirdness ensues.
Review the exact throttle and/or brake input instructions you are sending to the TCU (like lifting the throttle just before flooring it perhaps) when you experience this problem and try modifying your procedures before asking the TCU for sudden acceleration.

Sometimes I'll enter a corner in 3rd gear manual mode, and if I slow down too much before I shift to 2nd, the car already has and I end up in first and It does the lurch thing. This really only ever happens if the car is just warming up.
