S-Sport = HAPPINESS

Every review I've read on the TC-SST acknowledges that the auto S-Sport mode has an uncanny ability to keep you in the right gear on the track. Exactly the reason it becomes a handful on the street.

Hi all, pardon if this is slightly OT. but i am very curious to know which mode is assumed to have been used when Mitsu (and most car guides) indicate a 0-to-60 of approx 5secs for the Evo X? If "normal" then anyone know what the 0-60 is in "S-Sport"???

Interesting. I'm about to take the plunge back into the Evo world for a third time (Looking at an MR Touring) but have reservations about the sequential manual. I'm bored with my 335d and its awful slushbox but think the SST will be a nice gap between the annoyances of a full manual for a commute and the poorly sorted shifting of your average traditional automatic.
I've been reading old threads for the past couple of days and I think I'm comfortable with the idea of the SST and think I'll enjoy it.

The stickshift ***** will disagree, but the sst is faster and more accurate. I also find I'd rather have my full focus on the road when driving under more challenging conditions at high speed. However the sst is at heart automatic so for those who feel the need to pump a clutch and twiddle their stick it may be a tough transition.

Road and Track's last test had the 2010 SE at 13.2 @ 104 and 4.6 to 60.
