I tracked with an essentially stock EVO X MR. Based on my experiences on a tight track... the only thing I'd get is a transmission cooler.

You might want to take out your fog lights and setup some mesh grill instead, helps keep the SST cool

I would not get all that stuff and go straight to the track. You don't know how each mod would react and it's not a good idea to put a bunch of stuff on and start tracking it (hitting redline at every shift). You might get a light and have to call it a day. If it's soon, I would suggest just checking your pads and top off your brake fluid. Then have fun with the X at the stock level. When you have more time, you can start upgrading parts and either get a custom tune for it or buy an AP and load in a designated map and test from there. In regards to the SST overheating. I've only experienced it on really hot days and doing constant tracking for over an hour. If you give the car a break every hour and the weather is cool, you should be fine.

LOL... I'll bet that I have more track time last year then you have had in your entire life. So, yes I have 6 posts. However, no need to be a dick to anyone regarless of how many posts you have accumulated, IMO, that is.

T bolt clamps for your upper intercooler piping. Even if they are stock. Torque them properly. (the stockers will NOT stay tight)

SSP trans cooler hands down. It's uses a Setrab M22 cooler. Setrab coolers are top of the line. It uses a DC operated pump you can switch on with the car off, to cool the fluid between runs. This sets it far and above any other cooler on the market.
SSP fluid. If you are on the stock turbo, the stock clutches are fine.

Motul 600 or equivelent brake fluid.
Racing Brake pads. (Hawk DTC 70 or better)(Hawks are good, just noisy on the street. ...they are race pads. Don't run them on the street) Any kind of straight, once you get fast, the stock brakes and fluid won't cut it.

Oh, and Lous has been ****ed hard enough by Mitsubishi, he earned the *** priveledge. Don't be offended.

Lous....be nice!!!

I'd first take the car out and experience the flaws of the car and your driving first before you hide them with performance parts. Not saying the mr has many at all. Learn how to handle your car with the bare min before going out trying to be Mario Andretti. Kozmik is correct on the transcooler as some have had great success on it while others have gotten away with other temp solutions. Hawk is a decent brand out in the market, but there are many other brands more capable of doing the job also. Visit local track forums to see what others run as for the brake and tire combination and decide from there what combination will fit your driving style.
