TCU is by Continental TEMIC division
Gearbox is by Getrag Ford division

Interestig/good find. So maybe new ford focus dual clutch new models will be similar to ours Sst.

The new focus ti is a dry dct and the evo has a wet clutch setup if iam not mistaken. calibrationwise they can be setup similiarly however, with the wet setup, it can take higher trqs and better for drivebility.

Ah yeh good point. I should have looked up te details of ford boxes first.

Continental have a pretty big site. Looks like they make a large amount of parts, sensors and control units for anyone who wants to contract them. Idk if it's worth contacting them direct see if they will sell replacement sensors or provide any info I the tcu. I am guessing razor is already all over every possible angle

PowerShift is available in both wet and dry clutch.

I wonder if Mitsubishi is using Chinese made Getrag transmissions/parts. Ford uses a Chinese made Getrag 6 speed in the 5.0 Mustang, which has been giving some owners fits over shifting and gear durability. Anyway, nice find there.

that is correct, but not to the US market atleast to my knowledge.
Now days alot of companies are starting to use them for thier fuel efficiency benefits, honda is actualy using it in one of thier motorcycles. interesting stuff!

There are like many other Dual Clutch Suppliers out there and we had to use Getrag???

I have a question. I have damaged SST on my EVO X(TCU doesn't work correctly) Can I replace TCU from Ford to my EVO X???

uhhh I don't think that's a good idea to out the TCU from FORD??!! Go find a TCU for the MR then. Gd luck man
