MRP? SSP? XRP? Who is the real manufacturer?

So I was looking at some options for upgrades to my TC-SST and came accross some videos on Youtube from MRT Performance about their SST upgrades. However, after looking, I noticed that they look exactly like what SSP offers. Example:

http://www.mrtperformance.com.au/pro...ode=&brand=MRT
same as
http://shop.ssptx.com/south_side_per.../i-527465.aspx
?

And also, in one of the videos they zoom in on the inline filter they sell, and it looks just like the SSP filter, but says XRP on it... later on it has a MRP sticker on it.

Anyone know any info about this?

Minute 3:06 shows an XRP filter and 3:42 shows the same filter wrapped in a MRT sticker..

?

The SSP filter is a XRP filter. When you buy one from SSP, it comes with the XRP logo on it. Apparently, XRP doesn't sell to end users though. It would be about 1/2 price if you could buy it direct. I'm sure MRT is doing the exact same thing.

You can buy inline filters on lots of sites. I use racer supply wholesale (something like that) for stuff like that. Much cheaper. A lot of parts are just speced by companies and put together in packages to make it easy for the end user. If you want to do the home work you can make your own kits.

I think they are even using the SSP Picture. Even the steels are stacked the same way.

SSP recently revised their inline filter kit to a better filter from a different supplier and -8 fittings that fit into the OEM hoses better. It is a much better kit than the previous version, without a price change. Below is a picture.
