Easy ways to solve overheating?

Taking the MR to the drag strip soon and was wondering if there were anyways I could prevent the tranny overheating without spending $. I heard taking out the fog lights can help but I don't know how. Any tips would be appreciated (how to take out fog lights).

Make a air damn that you can bolt on forcing air from under the car to get pushed up onto the cooler? Idk if the x comes with a tranny cooler or not but that's an idea.

Does the transmission overheat on the drag strip??? I thought it was more tight road courses that this happens on?

I would figure it wouldn't be as bad as the drags being technically your car is running 12 seconds or whatever down the track rather then on and off the throttle through a road course.

I thought that too. This is my first time on the drag strip and the only thing Im concerned with is it overheating while trying to do a launch. This has happened to me before. I try reving to 5k it will only reach 3k saying slowdown. This is the main thing im trying to prevent.
