92 Eclipse GSX HELP! ACT ISSUE

I have a 92 eclipse gsx, brand new TTR built tranny, brand new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, new stealbraided clutch line. Pretty much everything is new on my drive train. Purchased a ACT 6puck clutch with Street light flywheel new also from Extreme PSI installed everything and the clutch doesnt feel like its engaging all the way. Adjusted the pedal a million times and bleed the system a million times. i also put in the slave cylinder extension rod. Has anyone seen this problem before?

IF i start the car in gear i can drive it once i stop i have to shut car off and back on, wen im driving an i put the clutch in n push the gas the RPM dont fly up like they should. PIcs below is the clutch it has about 7miles on it max

Have you taken it back to the shop to have it checked out?

I haven't worked on a DSM in a long time, but what about the release bearing arm and the pivot ball?

How much play is there in your clutch pedal? Chances are that the bushings on the pedal assembly are bad. Check out other dsm websites and john sheperd's website. This is a common problem on 1g's.

im not talking about pedal stiffness. the way to check pedal play is by pushing the clutch all the way in and fully releasing it. once you have your foot off, see how much travel there is from where its stopped to the top of its travel. 1g all had this problem. chances are that its the pedal assembly.

Good deal. Glad you got it sorted out. Did they say what was wrong with it? Pressure Plate?
