EVO VIII and STi on STX Exclusion List for SCCA Auto-x
Looks like according to the Feb03 Fastrack, the EVO and STi are on the exclusion list for STX
"Street Touring: The following cars are added to the STX exclusion list: Subaru WRX Sti Mitsubishi Evo 8"

Both the EVO and the STi will not be running in the SCCA Street touring class called 'STX' for auto-x.

STX was a new class for 2002, an extension of STS that alloed the addition of limited slips to those cars that didn't have them, bigger brakes, street tires up to 245 and rims of 8" wide...
and larger engines (2.0L FI or 5.1L N/A)

Basically all the street touring rules, and additional things at the bottom of the page.

In short, for the AS you will find following cars as most popular in 2002:
- Corvette C4
- and that about covers it
![Smilie](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
They will probably move to the AS following cars:
- E46 M3 and M Coupe & Roadster
- Porsche Boxter S
...and those will bring some heat in there
For the BS here is what was popular in 2002:
- Honda S2000
- Porsche Boxter
- Toyota MR2 Turbo
- E36 M3
- few other Porsche 911 or something
Also new 350Z is getting there too.
So, we will see what is going to happen next!
