2005 WRC Begins

Galli: 13th, 8th, 11th, 13th, 15th on the first 5 stages. Maybe you're thinking of Rovanpera? He did marginally better.
That was Galli's first time in the Acropolis rally and he wasn't expected to do very well, so a 7th isn't too bad. They didn't show it, but Grist says that Galli was a crowd favorite towards the end of the rally with his sideways driving.

Wow, there's no stopping Loeb, is there
The other teams need to get off their asses, and get some good luck. Its kinda depressing seeing Loeb win rally after rally (although he is an awesome driver and a cool guy).
Also, this is a bit off topic, but if you are a good artist and feel like getting a ride with Gigi Galli, direct your attention to this thread:

to those who don't go to rallyforum, "pino" is a close friend of gigi, so this contest is legit. Too bad im a crappy artist and would have no chance of winning....

It's messed up what happened to Galli, I have mad faith in him. Mitsubishi is keeping him next year right?? I predict if he keeps it up he could well make it onto the podium a few times before the season is over or next year.
On another note, it's funny how solberg learned from his mistake last year and looked like he was scared of the water puddles...:-P
