EVO presence felt at NASA Time Trials California Speedway

StiThis and the rest of team EVO-ADD (Hallster, PaulKendall, and myself were representing at the NASA California Speedway (ROVAL course) event.
The BAD news was my car didn't make the event :-(

The good news was StiThis and I co-drove in his HOT Buschur Stage IV (4th place at the EvoM tunner shootout) with his new DMS set-up and "HAD FUN PLAYING WITH THEM"

SAT

StiTHIS 1st UNLIMITED class Time Trial (NASA TT new lap record 1:52.8)
Robi 2nd UNLIMITED class Time Trial
Hallster 1st "C" (almost stock) class TT
Paul Kendall 5th ""B" class TT (had a bunch of "Ringer" American Muscle Iron to contend with!)

SUN

Robi 1st UNLIMITED class Time Trial (NASA TT new lap record 1:51.4)
StiTHIS 2nd UNLIMITED class Time Trial
Hallster 2nd "C" (almost stock) class TT
Paul Kendall 5th ""B" class TT

No EVO's ran last year to my knowledge but they ALL know about them NOW!!!

Great Job Guys

THanks Slider how did Buttonwillow go?

We "cheated" the tires were 2 year old take them out of the discard pile 250/650/18 yokahama slicks...BUT Because we didn't have a flashed ECU we could only run 17 pounds boost for about 330 WHP before the fuel cut issues started!!!
And yes this is the "big boys road course"

Still that's real fast.

Buttonwillow was fun. It was great to be "back in the saddle" so to speak. Low turnout with Speedventures, only half dozen or so cars in the red group, so lots of open track. The "new" MUELLERIZED evo ran great!! Ran #14 CCW @ 1:55.3 on Hoosier 245's so I'm happy. And so's the crew!!!

We head back out there this next weekend racing with SCCA.

robi- was that the red EVO with blackish front fenders?

Either that car was extremely fast or the driver is crazy......that car was passing everything and the driver would brake really late after the high speed turn. Hard to believe that thing only had 330whp.

It would have been nice to see that car race that one silver STI....that car also looked fast and appeared to be passing lots of cars.
