Thx to Robi for coming over to Pahrump to sort out the suspension for Spring Mountain & me. It was definitely a learning experience for both of us (Robi's first time to Pahrump & he was damn fast for that).
Here is a quick rundown:
Like a dumba$$, I forgot my tire pressure guage in a rush to get all my crap together for the track event. Robi had one but he wouldnt be able to show up at the track by noon. So I was running the first two sessions (30 min. each) on blind tire pressures. Even without knowing the tire pressures the car felt AMAZING. The car is neutral and it TURNS when I want it, from long sweepers to short quick turns, it takes them with speed.
Robi showes up (thank god), and just as he shows up my run group is ready to go, so Robi jumps in my car and out we go. Car feels ok but I could tell the tires were gone, felt greasy.... still some quick laps but the car pushed sometimes, which it didnt do earlier that day. Sessions was over and we could finally see what the tire temps were.... 55psi front and 44psi rear!!! no wonder the tires felt like poop!
Turned down hot tire pressures to 39 front and 41-42 rear.. Robi made some rebound adjustments... made all the difference in the world.
By the end of the day the only car quicker than me was a yellow Radical and I hung with him for about 5 laps till he took off on me.
Guys, Robi and DMS 50mm's are the real deal. Silly, stupid fun & fast at the track with LOTS of more to learn and gain.
Thx to Dali Racing for putting on a great track day. It was also nice to see several EVO's out at the track, doing what they are supposed to do.
Pictures coming soon!

Nils, who's version of the cwest front is that and how satisfied are you with the fit, finish, and overall integrity? I need something to hang a badboy splitter off of <evil grin>.

you know.. I am not sure who make sthe knock off version.. Robi knows though.
The fitment is ok... because of the underbody diffuser the bumper cover is ROCK solid. I am very satisfied with it.

Nils,
Nice car man! I was at Pahrump this weekend also. I was in the white MR.
Your car did awesome.... I think I got a few pictures of your car on the track...I'll see if I can find em! I had several tire pressure gauges, I wish I knew you didn't have one!
Nice to meet you as well Robi.... you'll be hearing from me soon!
