Summit is in west virginia about 10 miles from winchester, VA.
If you go to the website www.summitpoint-raceway.com and get the schedule there are varioius "FATT" ("Friday at the track") events. They usually fill up pretty fast for the noob classes.
after you have been there a couple of times they bump you up to group 2 which fills up much slower....... after signed off you can then sign up for "seat time" or "open track".

i think a 1:15 could be managed around the Jefferson Course in a volvo.....maybe....

I did race it in Denver a few weeks ago though with mixed results, I might add...
Back on topic (sorta') I did a test at Summit in the spring and ran a full race distance and indeed the car was clicking off consistant 1:15s in race trim. You guys have a big time at Summit, I am truely jealous
