I know there're alot of motor talks out there but I just want to know what fellow track junkies used for their EVO especially the ones seeming heavy track time?

I have been using Amsoil 10w-30 but now I'm thinking about switching to something that offers more protection. I spoke to Amsoil and they recommended the Series 2000 0w-30 for the extra protection.

Redline synthetic 20W/50, which was recommended by Road Race Chassis.

Only in that stupid extended performance crap they have now.

10w-30 is the highest normal mobil 1 goes now.

They have the 15w/50 avalible in a performance driving formula and extended performance formula @ WAL-MART. I've used the 15w/50 performance driving formula before but usually use it in the summer when I run my cars hard.

I've been using Mobil 1 from the beginning for no real reason other than it's cheap and you can find it everywhere. However, a sponsor convinced me to try Torco SR-5 Racing Oil, which is an ester-based full synthetic (comparable to Motul 300V Motorsports).

I've been running the SR-5 in 20W-50 for a handful of track days and some street driving. I've just reached 3000 miles since the SR-5 went in. I'm going to send the used oil off for a Dyson analysis through Blackstone. I'll post the results here in case anyone is interested.
