After all the discussion about crash worthiness. Let get back to the thread title.
Mr Robi,
can a Gt spoiler be mounted to the rear cf trunk? I was unclear after reading through the whole thread. Thanks

and some gratuitous car-**** of the CF parts that started this debate .
Long-term use feedback:
Long-term use feedback:
- hood fits great
- hood pins fit great, but needed some tweaking of the hood catch (slotting the bolt holes)
- hood pins hardware is not rust-proof (fixed it with clear nail polish)
- trunk fits great
- trunk will deform if you put trunk springs on it (even the no wing RS low tension version). I ground down the RS springs until they barely hold the trunk up when open, but the trunk still flexes a little. Also flexes if you push on the wing (straight back), causing the angle of attack on the wing to change slightly. This is a *small* flex, but with a bigger (or taller) wing than stock it may be more noticeable. The flex is in the connection between the trunk hinges and the lid. I haven't tracked the car since, so I can't say how much it changes the behavior of the car (if at all). A set of CF trunk hinges with a larger interface area would be sweet (and save more weight by removing the stock hinges).

You can't really shed that much weight from an EVO with carbon fiber hood and trunk. To really save weight you need a full set of carbon fiber DOORS without side braces. But don't get broadsided.
