Not that it matters really, I've never done a NASA event, but I was thinking I could put my time in HPDE's this year to get qualified in anticipation of doing this next year.

it gets tricky with the points. Almost better starting off with stock evo and lightly adding to that, otherwise your going to TTU real quick.

The national time trial head will be there so I would make sure your either comfortably in TTU or TTR.
Would suck to leave a ton of power on the table if you get bumped to TTR anyway.
Will be fun to run with you out there.

Nils,
What do you have in your car? I'm in TTA, and I have coilovers, rollbar, TME turbo, Cams, exhaust, 275 tires.....and the interior is 1/2 stripped...Did you use the calculator at the NASA time trial site?

I got way too much in the car right now to be able to run in TTA, but I have alot of my stock parts still laying around... I will reverse stock parts back on the car to get into TTA.
Just testing this year... might go for it next year, we'll see

Well...According to the calculator:
RA-1's-5 points
Tire width increase more than 31 mm (but not more than 41mm)-2 points
Removall of rear seats, etc-2 points
Trunk padding and carpet removal-1 point
Cams-4 points
Flash-4 points
TME (upgraded turbo)-7 points
Exhaust-2 points
Cat delete-1 point
Quiafe-1 point
Coilovers-7 points
Swaybars-2 points
Camber plates-2 points
Brake pads-1 point
Rotors-1 point
APR Wing replacement-1 point.
No points for my rollbar, as I only have 4 attachment points. More than that and I would be assessed points.
TOTAL: 58 Points, keeps me in TTA.

The boost controller and EMS definitely add points. If you were running a flash you would be in better shape for TTA classification. Also, your car should be GT3 quick with the mods you have.

I have:
A048's - 5
Tire width - 1
Cams - 4
ECU+ - 11
UICP/Intake - 1
MBC in car - 4
Fuel pump/injectors - 2
Water (alky?) injection - 6
Exhaust - 2
Cat Delete - 1
Coilovers - JIC FLTA2's fit where? - 12?
Sway Bar - 2
Brake Pads - 1
52. Apparently I can't add. That puts me solidly in TTA, which is where I'd prefer to be.
