I played with Vipers... again

Finally got time to watch the video, very nice!
The Sparco 375 was the wheel I was thinking of getting. Would you say the Splash adapter + 375 puts the wheel closer or farther away? I'm looking to get my wheel about 1" - 1.5" closer, but it's difficult to figure out where things are going to end up.

Im in the same exact boat.... I would like it 1-2in closer. I Called Z1performance and they said its a 4 week wait for the splash adapter. Its also $170 for the stupid thing. Let me know if you know where to get it.

really tough call. I wish I could say for sure but I installed seat and everything at the same time.
My pure guesstimate is that the combo ends you up pretty close to stock. There are spacers out there too if it ends up too short.

Nils -
Are you going to the Lapping Days event this weekend (Mar. 25 & 26) on the 2.2 mile course at Pahrump? It should be a great event with tons of track time, even if it is not, unfortunately, running the new 3.8 mile track like in your video.
I will probably be there. If you make it down, I hope you can give me some pointers on getting faster at Spring Mtn. I'd like to try to follow you around the track. If you stick to 7/10s or 8/10s, maybe I can do it. lol

I'm personally a big fan of the 2.2 mile course. I haven't run the full 3.8 yet, but I have run the 3.1 without the reconnect before the old chicane. Nils, you were at the racerfactory event in october when none of the curbing had been completed. The track looks so much more complete now with all the rumble strips and that tunnel wall gone! Damn, I gotta get out more!
