Here are some photos of the cars at MidAmerica Motorplex last weekend. Sorry, there are no action shots since my real camera was recently stolen. Anyhow, it was great meeting the AMS team and watching them in action. Here's to 4G63 domination!

Those are great pictures.

Here is one that parked by us.

It was sure cool seeing all those different cars on the track, and up close in person.

The AMS guys were very nice. The Black AMS evo was awsome.

Too bad those that missed it,, well missed it,,,,,,,,,,

It sure was fun seeing all the competitors and meeting Martin from AMS and Jon in person ... my battery for my camera is being recharged, hopefully I can post pics when it is fully charged. I got to witness some very impressive driving ...

Esp. the SRT-8 Jeep,,,,, that thing has been going through my mind for 24 hours now!!! It was BADASS!!

I didn't see laptimes, only race times. I believe racerjon was saying he was running low 1:40's. That's not slow.

 

Doh! You're correct. I looked at those earlier today, and forgot they were cumulative.

 

1:42 on my last lap, with dirt through turn 2 slowing me down, and brakes fading. Few more laps I am sure there is sub 1:40s in it on Street tires.

Wow! it's hard to believe that brakes that size could fade on you in a couple of laps. Good luck with the rest of the race.

 

Just read the updates, sounds like everything is going well, besides the brakes ... could it be inadequate brake cooling? That's all I can think of ...
