This was a perfect environment for the MRs softer suspension with 9s ACD AWD and strong motor providing the get up and go.

Great going George!

Here's a little video from the event. BSP class winning M3 vs my Evo, run for run.

The last run we were separated by around .07 sec. I also have in-car if anyone is interested.

I'm glad to hear you had a good time Jan. Also, as you can tell, the mentality of running at a big event is much different than what we do locally. I hope that what little advice I gave you helped.

You guys can't continue to let him run away with it all the time. And in the Wet!

hey watch it Anton! I think there were 2 evo's faster than Chris...one clean and one dirty. He ran 47.7 on sunday and I ran 47.2, kevin had a dirty 47.5.

But yes...we were all spanked on saturday. Thats what happens when you don't have Hoosier dirt stockers or wet radials.

By the sound of it we'll be reaming your a$$ for awhile too

oh, and congrats on the evo...Chris gave me the good news....

Gracias, gracias.

I will be picking her up Wednesday but unfortunately since I'm so busy this month and next I won't able to join joo foos till August for any cone crunching shennanigans.

I'll be sure to register novice and grab chris as my "instructor"

I'm surprised to see how much body roll the non-stock EVOs are showing in these pics. But I really need to a bigger front bar!

As it should - that pic is a MR with stock suspension.

Here's one from this past weekend...

(first run - a little too hot into that corner)

George

I didn't realize it was an MR suspension - your text above the pic link was about NON stock Evo's with body roll.

But great pic of you attacking that corner

Yep, my post wasn't clear. The roll with the stock suspension is to be expected, but there was more roll on the other cars (in the other pics in the folder) than I would have expected. In any case, good to see everyone pushing the cars to the limit!
