No, I had TRE fab in fittings into the actual casing.

Its really strange because they do sell the 4th gear on the input shaft (22014 on diagram F00037), but that's not what razorlab broke. Anyhow, I don't see any way to get just the driven 4th gear.

If you can get the complete 4th gearset (main and driven gears) for $125, that seems like only option for now. Are you sure its the set on not just the main gear with the synchros?
Which number?

You the man. Thank you. 22414. I asked three different parts distributors if there was another F000XX sheet that might have the output shaft gears listed individually, and they all said no.

Can someone post a price?

List is $141. I can probably get it a little cheaper though.

That's the input shaft detail. The assembled output shaft is shown at the top of the diag.

Well, if you're talking about the 22414 in the diagram it is MD771719 for '03-'05 and MD771722 for the '06's.

'03-'05 for a 6MT? Do you mean just '05? Or is '03-'05 part for the 5MT tranny?

Has anyone ever though of trying to fashion a heat shield or putting some insulatory material between the transmission and the downpipe. I haven't gotten under there yet to see what kind of clearences between the two there are but i am sure that the downpipe does radiate some heat and get the underside of the tranny hot.

It would be possible to fabricate a simple heat shield that just clamps onto the DP with some straps, like good T-bolt intercooler straps. Otherwise I'd say get it coated because you wouldn't take up any room for clearance.

The DP fitment is already super tight around the front crossmember, so (in that area) it would be difficult to manage. Those with the stock DP already have a heatshield.
