Ran a set of Kics spacers this weekend for 2 events. They came highly recommended by some of the local Evo drivers.
10mm spacer. Very nice product.
Dirty Coilovers!

I also have a set of 17x9 with 275's that I haven't whipped out yet this year. I'm gonna run the cheaper rubber (old 255's) for local events.
I'm assuming you are on 17x9's too - so you'll need between an 8 and a 10mm...so go with the 10mm. I got mine from Evasive Motorsports.
My fenders are rolled and pulled... so I probably could have gone with a 15mm...but whatever, not a big deal.
We can compare notes this weekend @ E-Town if you're going. I have some regular 5mm and 10mm spacers I can bring if you want to try them. Sunday is out for me for Easter. I miss enough church during auto-x season! Gonna be with the family.

Well I got to drive Kyle Bishop's Evo RS this past Sunday for the first time and all I can say is
I'm used to relatively low hp and fwd so stepping into this thing was incredible. I haven't driven any others so I'm not sure if the setup is the way its suppose to be, but it felt good to me.
I was expecting it to feel heavy and sluggish on turn in but it was very much like the Civic's I'm used to. What threw me off was the partial throttle boost around a sweeper and then the amount pull the thing has when you put your foot down. I believe he's only putting down about 300whp, but it feels like 600 to me. I can't wait to get it on an open course.
Hopefully I can get a better hold of the car before the Deven's tour, and maybe Nationals...

Welcome to EvoM, tunes12...
I think that well-prepped FWD SM cars and well-prepped AWD SM cars may not be that far apart in terms of "feel" -- I told Neal Tovsen that his supercharged Scirocco drove just like my Evo. Everything about his car's handling felt natural and intuitive coming from my Evo.

Oh, Mark and I know each other quite well. I've been driving Chris Travis's Civic in SM for the past 3 or 4 years so we've duked it out before. I just figured I'd try something new this year. Not sure I'll be placing top 3 this year as I did in '05, but we'll give it a shot.

Nelson, I'm suprised to see you here on Evom instead of Hondatech lol. Chris did tell me you will be codriving Kyles car though. You should come to play in NY and NJ region more often, so we can all try to catch Mark....
