They got a 5th, ran a good race but the Speedsource RX-8's are on a roll. The RX-8 seemed to be unstopable on the oval portion. I'd still rather drive a GT3!
I love this year in Rolex so far! wow!
Maybe VIR will tighten up the field.

Great race and great job by Leh and his team! I just wish they would show more of the GT class, I have more fun watching them. The RX8s were definately dialed in for that track and the 70 car was flying around the banked oval. The battle between he and the GT3 was very entertaining at the end and oh so frustrating after the GT3 finally got past the RX8 only to get out performed around the oval shortly after.
The DP class was "competitive" to say the least. All I have to say is those cars can take a lot more abuse than I had thought.
ROVAL type tracks are tough to tune for. You either tune for the high speed downforce or the low speed downforce, sacraficing the other. Seems the oval was the only real place to get some good grip so tuning the aero for less drag was the way to go even though they would have less downforce through the infield, but it seemed that the lack of grip kinda leveled the playing field on the infield anyway regardless of low speed downforce.

yea it went ok...... we had a dif problem at the end.. and started bleeding spots...
plus we did one stop... ich usualy would be good.. but in this case.. it just ment worse tires then the other cars....
it was a bad race for us really...... but 5th is still ok in points....
and i didnt roast my tires.. this is like the first time i have ever done that.... hahaa.. i was sooo easy on them... lost a little ground... but it was ok.. i came in rite behind mazda.. and the guys flew threw the pit stop.. and we were able to overtake the mazda in pit lane...
