Both courses also had about the longest sweepers (both off-camber) I've seen. All in all though, both were a blast to drive and I'm glad I held on for the win.

Now, did you notice which tires the winners of STS, STS2, and STU were on?
Congrats on the win! That makes 4? Evo national wins this year in STU (all on our race cats BTW).

Isley is always our target out here, as BS has a close PAX to STU.

Yeah, good job Jason. Good to see another Evo win, the first STU win on Bridgestones this year and another Jason winning

Rick, you know Isley lurks on every forum known to man. I'm sure he'll be on here soon now complaining about out PAX

That's why I put it in a complimentary tone:] I heard Isley gave Ron "TV" Baur a hard time when he was announcer at the Houston tour. Speaking of which, are you going to the Evo practice day? Last time 40 drivers, 10 national champs, Isley didn't catch us 'till the end of the day.

Isley looked like a machine out there. How close do you guys usually get to him at local events?

As far as Ron "learn how to race autoxer" Baur, he wasn't there in a brand new pretty yellow Solstice GXP so I'm thinking he didn't win Of course he was being pretty tight lipped about it (I figured he was under contract to) but he did a good job announcing for STU-L (without slipping in any acroymn jokes).

First off it's "Bauer". Ron's one of the few ppl who pronounces my name correctly so I gotta look out for him too

It's about 50/50 who's faster, the fastest STU car or Isley. If STU is faster it's usually within .5, if slower it can be much slower, like 1 sec or so (I'd guess that's because on some courses race tires can be a much bigger advantage our power advantage, but that's just a guess). Isley is at a disadvantage since he's up against up to 5 fast STU drivers down here... But I think we have a PAX disadvantage

I googled Ron's name and other's had it wrong too.

Jason (C), here's some pax results from early this season when I could still drive. We paxed 3 in a row behind Jason (I).

Now as spaf mentioned, STUers Hayter, Simanyi and Jason (U) can be quicker than BS depending on the course. Isley does drive the wheels off that RX8.

Congrats on the Tour Win. I really wanted to go down there for that event. I love Texas(lived there for 5 years). Was hoping to get to spend some time in Galveston... it just wasn't going to work out. I think we are headed up north though to play with Dave in Milwakee...

Evo's are kickin' butt this year...and they say Subies are the cars to have...psh
