Boston Area AutoX

Well now that I know that I'll be going to college in the Boston area, I was wondering what AutoXs the Boston Evo owners attended? Which AutoX clubs should I join? Thanks

NER SCCA, Boston BMWCCA, Renegade Miata and a few others run at Devens in Ayer, MA. Thats your best bet for a great lot and competition. They also run NHIS AFAIK.

There's a NER SCCA autox at Devens this Sunday. Next wknd SVT is at Devens and FSCC is in Plainfield CT, which as Nick suggests may be closer to you.

I have once, but I'm in CO for the summer so I won't be able to...then I'm going to India/Afghanistan for a gap year before college.

I just want to say one word to you -- just one word -- 'Devens.' :-)

Seriously, all the best autocross in the Boston area takes place at the abandoned airport runway at Ft. Devens, in Ayer. There are at least 5 clubs that run there. There is an autocross event there almost every Saturday and Sunday.

My favorite two clubs are:

1) http://www.boston-bmwcca.org -- BMW owners club. requires membership. doesn't requre bimmer ownership.

2) http://www.renegademiata.net -- Miata owners club. requires membership in their club, the SCCA, or the BMW club, above.

There is also an SCCA chapter (ner.org), two Porsche clubs and a couple of others that do a few events per year.

The cost is about $35 per event (not counting the tire wear!).

Hope to see you at some events this year!
