I am going to try and make my first NASA event. Need to check things out and see if I want to participate next year I think. I haven't signed up yet, still awaiting some new brakes and my schedule to clear up first.

This will be my first time at Autobahn. I'll be in 4, but maybe just a bit off the pace! Any evo hot lap write-ups? I've watched this a few times to get an idea of the course: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...05904589747511
I'll have a pyrometer so we should hook up for temp/press pit duty.

Usually that's how the schedule is set up in the OH/IN and Midwest regions. Four 20 minute sessions per day plus the post session download discussions. While the NASA program may offer a bit less seat time than some other programs the download sessions tend to make up for that with more education & discussion. Also you can generally find an instructor to help answer questions or ride along and offer tips for virtually every skill level, very helpful even if you are experienced but have questions about a new track.
For me (at least until I move into door-to-door racing) the real meat of the NASA program is the HPDE4 & Time Trials sessions. Open passing with traffic on at any point on the track without the pressure of needing to force the pass. In addition to being a great experience, the Time Trials sessions are a great way to compare your performance to other drivers and also measure you own growth as a driver.
