Congrat Mark Daddio!
Mark Daddio took home the win in the SCCA Finger lakes Pro Solo event this past weekend. Mark ran his EVO VIII taking home the win in Street Modified.
According to Mark Daddio,
"In my class, Street Modified, I ended up winning with a 41.642 second run, besting the last years 5th place at Nationals cars' time of 42.992 seconds. That turned out to be the 2nd largest margin of victory for all the classes at the event. I also ended up with the fastest pax time for the event which is where each class has a factor to multiply the time by which allows a comparison of all the classes. Long story short is that it is starting to look very good for the nationals coming up in Sept in Topeka, KS. Hopefully I can bring home an SCCA national championship to AMS"
Thanks for the support,
Mark"
Way to go!

No aero yet, and won't be before nationals. Still not convinced that an awd car needs it at autocross speeds. If I could generate a bunch at the front of the car, I would consider it, but the last thing this car needs is rear downforce for autocross. Just my opinion though.

Congrats on the win! Awesome job! Noticed that you were a tenth or so faster than Beecher in XP. That means we have a long way to go to keep up! We skipped out on the Pro because we are still untuned running stock boost. Knew there wasn't any chance for tires, so no reason to waste all the money on the trip.
Have you switched to JRZ along with AMS, or still on similar Ohlins setup as we have? Have you seen the new Motec ACD controller Works is selling -- all I can say is YUMMY!!
Too bad you won't be at the Pro in Toledo this weekend. See you in Topeka!

Looks like I'll get the SLC Pro to myself.
How about some props for John, too, who was just 1.1s behind Mark in raw time. Both of them were dominant.
Edit: Just noticed they used the wrong PAX numbers in the bump classes. Interesting.

Yes, John was and has been very fast this year. I have tried to convince him that he should run nationals this year, but to no avail. You listening John? I think he would have a more than even chance at winning BSP this year the way he has been driving.
