Goodsport Racing to Prove Lancer in NASA 25 Hour
Goodsport Racing Corporation will return to the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill in 2007 in an effort to repeat past successes in the world's longest endurance road race. Run in Willows, CA since 2003, the 25 Hour succeeded NASA's many years of successful 12 hour endurance races, and has attracted numerous factory team efforts, professional drivers, and mass media outlets.
2007 will be the sixth appearance for Goodsport Racing at this historic event. Goodsport Racing acheived a class win in 2005 in a 1984 Volkswagen GTI and a 2nd place in 2006 with an '04 Mitusbishi Evolution. The '06 effort produced the first finish and the first podium for an Evo in the 25 Hour, and Goodsport Racing was able to complete the race with no breakage and only stops for gas.
Goodsport Racing will campaign a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer DE in class E2. This year's race should see multiple factory-backed efforts in class E2, making for some exciting racing. Typical endurance race preparation for the vehicle will include radical weight reduction, full coil-over suspension with race-tuned geometry, Toyo RA-1 race tires, and intake and exhaust optimization for the engine, and, of course, a Racing Brake performance braking system.

Driving and sponsorship opportunities are available at a very reasonable rate. Please contact David Bongiovanni at Goodsport Racing Corporation at 415.469.0489.
