Pike's Peak flipped STi
So I'm on vacation out here in Colorado Springs. Today we decided to take a trip up pike's peak. Everything is cool, we make it to the top, hang out for a while then head back down. About three miles down there is a station where you stop and a park ranger checks your brake temp before allowing you to proceed down the mountain. Well, we get there and the ranger(s) books it right before we pull up. WTF?
We head on down the mountain and this is what we saw a few turns down...
fortunately, the 2 dudes in the car were ok. They managed to climb up back to the roadside before help arrived. They said that a deer ran in front of them and they swerved to miss it.....
....but:
1. WRX STi
2. Pikes Peak
3. Gravel road
4. no deer tracks
5. two hard dick 20 somethings
...you make the call....
either way, I'm glad they were ok, and I had the 30d with me

I think Colorado Springs is a nice town...I grew up on Long Island with a 2 year interuption to live in CS in 1975-76 for Jr. High...I went to a school in the hood called South Jr. High (I was bussed there from Petersen Field where my Dad was a hospital admin)....Been back to Colorado a few times since then...good quality of life compared to most states in that region IMHO...
