PINKS! Lose the race, lose your ride!
Just got done watching pinks. and realized there are far too many big blocks
on this show. getting sick of seeing them. and i know those cars are older and not
worth half what a newer evo is. not saying id put my **** on the line but with all the drag racing and poo talking done with these cars, when are we gonna see one ( or maybe a couple ) on pinks??????
tried to do a search for this but its not working.

A client came to us to build him a motor because his car was in pinks over the summer at MIR. He was actually invited to the sweet 16 but was unable to compete as he broke a rear axle on his last qualifying pass.

Problem is two fold as I see it.
1) On the old pinks. It was all about being a better cheater. It was VERY rare that a person with any honor did well in that format.
2) In the new pinks all out. You had damn well better be able to hit the number or just a hint better run after run after run after run. As such rowing a gearbox makes it hard to be that exact and the guys with autos tend to own the format. In addition big blocks and large displacement motors tend to be less apt to having little hiccups with changes in heat or humidity.
In short the format favors big motors with simple layouts.
Now if we could get a track with really poor traction we could pwn the a$$holes.
Of course at that point they would just stop filming and and finish running the next day.

^ I agree. It totally favors big motors, old school, simple layouts. It does get old. To make it fair, Why dont they have an import pinks? That way its not just one import going up against the V8s. I would like to see an import pinks.
