Jarrod, I replied in that thread - I'd probably jump in on this rare opportunity if I'm a little more sure of the group buy. I could then relegate my NT03s to DD duty, which would be awesome...

wow those wheels sound sick, can you fit an 18x10 in the back? i would jump on it if i could get 2 in an 18x10.5

I've been running 18x10 all around for 2 years, so yep, you can make em fit!

They don't make an 18x10.5. You don't REALLY need a 10.5 in the front do you?

Jarrod, i like to be different! i would pick these up but i am getting a set of nt03's for like $700 for the set so ill stick with that and do a diff with the extra cash. how much extra rolling do you have to do for a 10 vs a 9.5?

All else being equal, you need 1/4" more clearance on the fender side - which is about 6mm. Not a lot, but if you are already really close then you'll need to spend some time there . . .

how big of a rear bar are most of you running? and does it hurt the doglegging that both the EVO and the STi are succeptable to?

This is going to depend heavily on your setup. Some of the fastest street mod Evos are running the stock rear bar.

I think I'm leaning towards a Tilton DD. The rebuild parts are abt $200ish, compared to $600ish for the Exedy.

A very analytical engineer buddy of mine just put one on his 400whp+ STi & he really likes it. He did a lot of research into this & went w/ the Tilton...

I don't need anything that holds crazy Tq, just something very durable--like we all do...
