Redline Time Attack - Buttonwillow Raceway, March 29th-30th
Just wanted to start a thread specifically for the season opening event at Buttonwillow. Who will be attending? Who will be racing?
Also, please remember that Saturday is only a High Performance Driving Event completely open to the public. So even if you dont want to race in the Time Attack, you can still come out to the track on Saturday and get 2+ hours of track time in. Your entry fee also gives you access to the facility on Sunday if you wish to return and spectate during the Time Attack competition.
Here is a direct link to the registration page:

For those of you who simply wish to come out and watch, Normal Admission is $15. You can print out a coupon from our website good for $5 off, or pick up one of our fliers from HIN Los Angeles on the 22nd, good for $5 off as well.

Hey Niki. Not sure if i can make it to this TA this year. I would like to participate, but its not looking very likely at the moment. The major issue being the tire limitations for the Modified class. Im going to see if i can work something out. Will have to wait and see how things progress the next 3 weeks.

I guess they don't have a lot of chances to run on the racetrack this time of year in MN. lol
Glad to see an X out there at the Time Attack, even if you have to schlep it 2000+ miles to the event. Are you driving the car accross or trailering?

Kinda cool, isn't it?
Time Attack is acting as a catalyst for what will soon become a serious movement, a revolution of sorts, in the Road Racing community across the United States. The Redline Time Attack is simply the beginning, simply the first step along the way, to many very cool things to come. If you think Time Attack is all that we are working on and all that we are focused on...... Or that this will be a flash in the pan or that we're some Cracker Jack outfit..... just wait. :-) I hope the "resident leaders" in the road racing industry make those false assumptions as well, and write us off. They'll put themselves in an ill-prepared position to deal with us when the time comes....

Um, errrr, ok. He said he's driving out to get Robispec'd and plans to do the event while he's there, so not quite what you were saying, but it's still very cool.
Dunno about all that cryptic talk on peanuts and cracker jacks, but I look forward to finding out!
