Used race tire dealers?

Anyone know of any good reputable dealers for used race tires? I've gotten tires from John Berget in the past, but he often doesn't have in stock what I'm looking for. Anyone else have good sources?

Thanks.

Your kidding right? Nobody gives up a good source as the nature of the thing is that they are hard to get and gold when you can get them.

With that said I can get you a GREAT deal on some lightly used rally tires.

Berget usually has RA1s from the MX5 cup teams in stock all the time, I imagine if they go to the R888s they should have them soon. I have had lots of luck placing orders with him, put your name on a list next time. If you can find a local Grand Am team, they usually ditch their Grand Am Cup tires pretty regularly. They have a compound intended for longer races so their "grip level" is somewhere between an RA1 and a Hoosier R6.

EDIT: They switched it this year to a 225/45/17 Hankook Z214 C50 compound, which is better than an RA1, but you would lose tire width, which is bad.

BTW, you can get V710 from a few places for about $50-75/tire. But all of those are 225/40/17.

Toyo currently has a $100 rebate, but it is for R888 and R1R only. I don't think it is available online, I got a coupon in the mail last week. Does somebody want it. $5.
