Here is the video clip. Sorry for the poor quality. It was the best my little Koday Easyshare could do!

WOW, WTF have I been not seeing this section of the forums! I've just noticed it and read all 11 pages! It's great to see a car like the evo compete against the big sponsored names now! Mad props to you guys for building such a car and attempting to compete, sort of like david vs. goliath, budget-wise. After seeing shots of the exterior and some of the interior I must say it's no doubt a bona-fide racecar, no matter if it cost 1/10 of all the competitors.
I see how people seem to be speculating on the 2:02 lap times, no matter, if it stays consistent like that, it shall grant a higher standing in the finish methinks. Staying consistent instead of ***** out I think is the main factor. I hate to compare it like this but anyone that has played the endurance races in the gran turismo series will know this.
I hope all the electrical issues are resolved, and seeing as the motor is built by a mitsu specialist such as bushur, should have no problems in that department. I wonder whom the trans/diff/case is reinforced by? I'm jus curious as how the car reacts with the acd system? Is the acd engaged or can it be disengaged or is it stuck in one mode all the time or did you guys swap out the drivetrain to a non-acd type? Regardless, its a great thing being involved in something like this, even if its just from the spectators seat, hope you get the big wins and not much drama/politics from the league, but then again the two aforementioned act as a catalyst for one another.

I'm going to try and make it out to Mid Ohio as its just up the way and all.
I wonder what the standard lap times will be up there? I would have to think that 1:20s would be possible.

I really hope this car gets the issues squared away... Mid Ohio could be an epic event for this car. Typically well driven AWD cars can take advantage of the track dynamics and can be faster "just because" they are awd. If the car runs strong and finds another second of speed, it will be VERY fun to watch

Is Speed GT running with Koni any more this season. It was pretty fun hanging with the Speed TC guys at Limerock and I'd love to see the new Evo GT. Is that an M3 Sedan in Speed GT?!?

Byron Smith is the driver, yes they are local to Miller. Miller was their first race, and they didn't do Lime Rock. I believe they are doing the rest of the season though.
