maybe evom can make its presence felt by donations from its members? a paypal account from vesko and co that evom can send voluntarily for this racing team and a large evom sticker in the windshield-not too large that it blocks the driver's vision?

Thats really too bad. I hope you guys have better luck next time. I look forward to seeing how you guys do.
Btw, at the very end of your post, the part i highlighted in bold, you said, "Watch the race on Speed channel this wed at Noon (Touring Car) and One pm (GT)." This Wednesday the 21st? I ask because on the WC site it says, "Today’s race will be broadcast on SPEED Wednesday, May 28 at 1 p.m. (EDT), 11 a.m. locally." So are they going to broadcast the race this Wednesday the 21st, or next Wednesday the 28th?

The SCCA requires stock bodywork for the most part...

I was looking at the Event schedule, because i would love to come watch one your events. One of the Norcal guys was at your Miller event, and posted a few of the pics he took in the Norcalevo thread. Unfortunately, since i compete in NASA's TT series, it appears most of my events are on the same weekends that you guys have a race. If that wasnt bad enough, pretty much all the events are pretty far. Although, im going to keep my eye out to see if i can make any of the races. Good luck.

Just so we are clear. I exchanged an e-mail with Vesko today. There were NO engine problems. He said the engine performed flawlessly. The problem was electrical. I just don't want any rumors getting started
He also wants to keep all the details of the actual engine build quiet so please don't ask me as I am not allowed to talk about any of that.
Thanks and I am very proud to be apart of this.

Our first race was a little disappointing.
We had an electrical problem that started about turn 5 on the first lap that burned up the coilpacks and we'll have to see what else. We were plagued by electrical problems all weekend, so its not surprising.
Before this we made up 6 spots going from 21 to 15, passing several cars at the start and the first few turns. The start was a thing of awd beauty, set your Tivos to record the race.
A little sweet part of the loss was that we finished just ahead of the guy that was talking crap on the scca forums. Results here.
We have work to do, and that is obvious, but we showed that the car can compete. We will be at the next race, so we'll hopefully have it sorted. Thanks for all the kind words and the encouragement.
Watch the race on Speed channel this wed at Noon (Touring Car) and One pm (GT).
