I got one of those, '87 Corolla FX. Best car ever made. Gets 100 miles per gallon. Never breaks. I actually paid $500 for it -- I need to get it ready for the 24 hours of LEMONS.

Nils, I think theres one at thunderhill in december! I so want to go...have a few co drivers too if your down. I say we put together a team. I even have a mechanic with race car prep and roll cage building experience that will work for free hehe!

got some more trik stuff on the car.... a rear bumper brace inside the bumper and rear hatch area.... and a front mega crash bar... and some cool chikin wire over the front bumper for Radiator proteKshun....

today was awsome.....

we had teeething issues the first 3 hours.... vacum stuff.... figuring out fuel stuff.... throttle cables braking..... all the lil BS u get when u put a car on track for the first time...

the main thing was to have fun..... and that we did!


at the end of the day i drove and with worn 205s we were able to lay down the 3rd fastest time of the day of about 85 cars...... on 100% 15 year old stock suspension.... short shifting 1k rpms and nursing a clutch... so we were pretty happy about that... theres actually alota cars out here better then ours.... (we already got some ideas for next year)

so with the time we spent behind the wall we are defiantly way behind.... but that dont matter.. we havin fun....

the rain was cool too!... this event is insane fun!....

i wish we had vid...



today was cool... very hot... i didnt really drive.. let the other guys get some seat time.. and i painted the front corners of the bumpers and told them i wanted it scraped off when they came in....


then in the last stint greg blew the motor.... running it with no water in it.... we thought we really blew it up... we dam sure were trying too....

chek the pic.... that WFO rev limit.. oil shooting out the valve cover.. and exhaust... it sounded like it was rod nokin and we figurd she was toast....




so wen we pulled it off the trailer tonite and she was puring like a kittin.. we were a lil confused... dam KA's just wont blow....


we already got a plan for next year... and we going for the win....

I think that was me driving. I remember going back and forth with you guys for a while. I think that may have been the stint I didn't have the camera in the car though...
