I run the 275-35-18 as its 25.6 but it does rub under compression in a really hot corner with normal street camber. Dropping it from -2.3 to -3.5 it was fine other than tire life.

Next time around though it will be 285-30-18s for sure though. I have also run the 275-40-17 RA1 and I can guarantee that it does not work. It rubs pretty much no matter what you do as it measures out 25.8 (listed shorter unloaded) on the car. If I had wide fenders or modded stockers it might have been okay but it wasnt the best on a road course. Ignore the noise and it still handled fine though

Keep in mind that 285/30's are quite wide you will need your fenders rolled/stretched to get them to fit. I have actually stopped using the Hoosier in the 285 size because it was just too wide on my lowered car. Non Hoosiers would probably be easier. If you are at a close to stock ride height the 275/40's will work but on lowered cars it gets nasty.
