Here is the web address for some in car video from my Evolution 8 at Mid Ohio in NASA's Super Touring 2 class final championship race. http://vimeo.com/1862108 I'm starting on the front row of 18 ST-2 cars. I was faster in the wet , but now must face the fact that I'm 140lbs over weight and my front stock open differential is limiting my corner exit speed. I finished 1st Friday (in the wet) 5th on Saturday (in the dry) and ended up 7th in the Sunday final. - Enjoy, it was an exciting busy race! I just returned from the Watkins Glen NASA regional race weekend. I have some good video that I will try to post soon. My fastest lap was a 2:07.9 I hope to see more Mitsubishi Evolution's prepared to compete next season. I believe ST-2 is the best class for Evolutions. Balrok you better dig deep! ST-1 cars are really REALLY FAST! If you just want to drive your Evo really fast , go for it, but to win ..... I'm doing 2:08's at the Glen in ST-2 and the ST-1 Porsche GT3r's are minus 2:00. One of the Deman Motorsports GT3r's got in the 1:57's. At Mid Ohio my fastest lap was a 1:37.8 and Danny Pops ST-1 Corvette ran a 1:29. Thats as fast as the Tommy Archer's GT Viper!

I hear ya man, My goal is to build the car proper, full-safe with all the bits, which means i'm taking EVERYTHING out (that i can). Even then, like you say, it'd still be hard. But what fun would it be if it was easy . I'm shooting for ST2, but if i land in ST1, i won't cry, i'll just try harder
